George McDaniel
George McDaniel has been CEO of a commercial bank, CEO of a merchant banking firm, a division head at several major banks and was the major principal for a buyout firm focused on manufacturing companies. He is a Principal in a firm focused on providing complex financings for middle market companies and is active on the boards of several community focused non-profit firms. He is a graduate of Indiana University (MBA) and North Carolina A & T State University B.S.- magna cum laude’) and is a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam.

Mr. Thomason is the Founder of the Wall Street Wizards Financial Literacy Program. In addition to his WSW responsibilities, Mr. Thomason is the Managing Partner of Thomason Capital, LLC (TCM) a boutique investment management firm providing both traditional and alternative asset management. Prior to founding Thomason Capital Management, Mr. Thomason was the Director of Portfolio Management for Parnassus Investments from 1995 through 1999. From 1992 through 1995, Mr. Thomason was a Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Griffon Capital Management. Mr. Thomason’s book “Make Your Money Work for You – Instead of You Working for It: Lessons from a Portfolio Manager” was published in 2005 by John Wiley & Sons.
