A majority of students of color and economically dis-advantaged backgrounds are unfamiliar with of the financial markets and the abundant career opportunities in the areas of finance and entrepreneurship. They have little, if any, economic responsibilities they will bear as adults. Often, secondary and/or parents have limited resources and little in the way of ba students on the global economy and personal money management.
